Database of publications / Information Economy Report 2006

The Report is intended to support the efforts of developing countries to overcome the challenges they face as they strive to narrow the digital divide and to enable their enterprises to become more competitive through the adoption of ICTs and e-business. To do so, the Report analyses the specific policy challenges facing developing countries, proposes possible means to address them and identifies and disseminates existing international best practice. Published by the UNCTAD in November, 2006.
