The Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan provides for freedom of religion, and the Government generally respected this right in practice; however, there were some areas of concern. This report is aimed at analyzing the status of respect for religious freedom in Tajikistan. Released by the US Department of State Bureau on Democracy, Human Rights and Labor on September 14, 2007.
