The publication titled "UN and Uzbekistan: Partners in Development" is a result of joint efforts of the UN programmes, funds and agencies operating in the country. These are UNDP, UNICEF, UNFPA, UNODC, UNESCO, WHO, and UNAIDS. It gives a brief overview of support that the UN agencies have been providing to Uzbekistan's development since 1993. The publication also highlights the UN contribution to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals in the country. The publication "UN and Uzbekistan: Partners in Development" can serve a guide to the UN's work in Uzbekistan and thus is intended for wide readership.
