This project is designed to support the activities of the UNDP sponsored GID Unit of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It helps build the institutional capacity of the GID Unit to act as a policy co-ordination and information unit of gender activities in the country and be a center for training and retraining for women in preparation for new opportunities.
