TICA was established in January 24, 1992 aiming to provide assistance from the government of Turkey to developing countries. The organization is constitutional component of the government of Turkey. The main goal of TICA is to assist developing countries in their efforts to establish close cooperation with other developing countries, in such spheres as economy, trade, and technical assistance, social, cultural and educational sectors. The assistance is undertaken through the projects and programs.
