Turkey International Cooperation Agency
TICA was established in January 24, 1992 aiming to provide assistance from the government of Turkey to developing countries. The organization is constitutional component of the government of Turkey. The main goal of TICA is to assist developing countries in their efforts to establish close cooperation with other developing countries, in such spheres as economy, trade, and technical assistance, social, cultural and educational sectors. The assistance is undertaken through the projects and programs.
The International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea
IFAS is a interstate organization established in order to fund and credit joint regional environmental and research programmes and projects aimed at saving the Aral Sea and improving the environmental situation in the areas affected by the disaster as well as solving regional socio-economic problems.

Special Olympics offers children and adults with intellectual disabilities year-round training and competition in 26 Olympic-type summer and winter sports.
Kuwait Fund For Arab and Economic Development
The Kuwait Fund for Arab and Economic Development (KFAED) was established on December 31, 1961, as a mechanism through which the State of Kuwait could extend loans and aid to Arab and other developing countries. The KFAED is an autonomous public body having an independent legal identity. All developing countries are eligible for funding from KFAED. The total number of beneficiaries has reached 86 countries including 16 Arab countries, 35 African, 22 Asian and European countries, and nine Latin American and Caribbean countries.
Konrad Adenauer Foundation
The Konrad Adenauer Foundation was founded in 1956. It offers political education, conducts scientific fact-finding research for political projects, grants scholarships to gifted individuals, researches the history of Christian Democracy, and supports and encourages European unification, international understanding, and development-policy cooperation.
Department for International Development (DFID)
DFID is the part of the UK Government that manages Britain's aid to poor countries and works to get rid of extreme poverty. It is headed by a Cabinet minister, one of the senior ministers in the Government. This reflects how important the Government sees reducing poverty around the world. DFID has 25 offices overseas, over 2500 staff, almost half of whom work abroad.
American Councils for International Education
ACTR/ACCELS is an international non-profit organization working to advance education, research, and mutual understanding across the United States, Canada and the nations of Southeastern Europe, Eurasia, and South Asia. With a staff of over 370 professionals, American Councils designs, implements, and supports innovative programs in education, professional development, and scholarly research.
Japan International Cooperation Agency
Since its establishment in 1974, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has supported socio-economic and human resource development in order to facilitate the autonomous, sustainable development of developing countries, as one of the Japan’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) implementing bodies. JICA is mainly responsible for implementing technical cooperation for developing countries. Besides the main office in Tokyo there are 19 international educational centers of JICA in Japan and 56 foreign representative offices all over the world.
United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)
UNDP advocates for change and connecting countries to knowledge, experience and resources to help people build a better life . Today UNDP works in the sphere of human development, democratic governance and sustainable development.It assists in designing and implementing national development strategies, promoting democratic and economic reforms, strengthening institutional and human capacities.
Delegation of the European Commission
The European Union (EU) has been providing assistance to the countries of Central Asia in implementation of political and economic adjustments since the Republics gained sovereignty in 1991. At present both EU and Central Asia have mutual interest in intensification of bilateral relations.
United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) helps with implementation of fiscal reform, private enterprise, the financial sector, legal reform, elections and civil society, local government and health in the Central Asian region.
Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GTZ)
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) GmbH is a government-owned corporation for international cooperation with worldwide operations. GTZ’s aim is to positively shape the political, economic, ecological and social development in our partner countries, thereby improving people’s living conditions and prospects. Through the services it provides, GTZ supports complex development and reform processes and contributes to global sustainable development.
Swiss Cooperation (SDC & seco)
The SECO provides asistance to the countries of Central Asia in transitional period. The SECO projects are directed to support democrtic reforms and market economy development in the CA states.
International Finance Corporation (IFC)
The International Finance Corporation is the private sector arm of the World Bank and is owned by its 175 member countries. IFC was founded in 1956 to promote development through catalyzing private sector investments in developing countries. Main business – investments in commercially profitable projects of the countries with the transit economy.
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is a multilateral development bank established in 1991 with the specific aim of assisting the countries of central and eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in their transition to market-oriented economies. Unlike most international financial institutions, the EBRD is focused on the private sector (70 per cent of investment) although it also supports the public sector, with or without sovereign guarantees. The Bank provides a broad range of financing instruments tailored to regional needs. EBRD uses the tools of investment to help build market economies and democracies in 27 countries from central Europe to Central Asia.
International Monetary Fund (IMF)
The IMF is an international organization of 184 member countries. It was established to promote international monetary cooperation, exchange stability, and orderly exchange arrangements foster economic growth and high levels of employment; and to provide temporary financial assistance to countries to help ease balance of payments adjustment.
The World Bank
The World Bank was established concurrently with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) following the resolution of the United Nations International Bretton-Woods Conference in 1944. Since 1946, the World Bank has been operating as a specialized financial institution of the United Nations, with headquarters in Washington D.C. U.S.A. with country offices in 100 countries around the world. The World Bank Group’s mission is to fight poverty and improve the living standards of people in the developing world. It is a development Bank which provides loans, policy advice, technical assistance and knowledge sharing services to low and middle income countries to reduce poverty.
Asian Development Bank
ADB is a multilateral development finance institution dedicated to reducing poverty in Asia and the Pacific. Established in 1966, ADB is now owned by 63 member countries. The overarching goal of ADB is to reduce poverty. To achieve this, ADB supports activities in its developing member countries to promote pro-poor economic growth, inclusive social development, and good governance. Under its Long-Term Strategic Framework (2001–2015), ADB takes into account in its activities three crosscutting themes: private sector development, regional cooperation, and environmental sustainability.
