June 29, 2005. New ambassador of Slovenia accredited to Turkmenistan

Chairman of the Turkmen Mejlis Ovezgeldi Atayev accepted credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia, Andrej Benedejcic. Serving as head of the diplomatic mission of Slovenia in Moscow, Andrej Benedejcic will simultaneously represent his country interests in Turkmenistan. During the meeting after the official ceremony, the head of the parliament briefed the Ambassador on the priorities of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan.
