September 12, 2005—September 15, 2005. Annual session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe in Bucharest, Romania

The WHO Regional Office for Europe, in collaboration with the Government of Romania, the host country, is organizing the annual session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe, WHO's European regional governing body. Over 200 delegates from the 52 Member States of the WHO European Region, including numerous ministers of health, will gather in Bucharest to discuss and adopt resolutions defining the European regional health agenda for the coming years in the following areas: child and adolescent health, European health systems, WHO European policy on alcohol, injuries and traffic accidents, influenza and avian influenza, obesity.
