Diplomatic mission of Kazakhstan in Singapore organized a reception for representatives of its official, social and business circles. The heads of some Singapore ministries and departments, local diplomatic corps, large corporations, leading higher education institutions and politologysts’ institutes participated in the event. The audience was told about preliminary results of 2005 presidential elections in our country, based on Kazakhstan's Central Electoral Commission information. In their turn director of the Institute for South East Asia Countries Research Kocheril Kesavapani, rector of Singapore Management University professor Howard Hunter, Ukraine Ambassador to Singapore Alexander Gorin congratulated on clear-cut and smashing victory of Nursultan Nazarbayev and wished Kazakhstani people success in achievement of tasks for further development of Kazakhstan assigned by the President. Diplomatic mission of our country held a briefing for journalists of leading Singapore mass media the very same day.
