- January 12, 2006. Russian bank to enter Kyrgyz banking market

A Russian bank intends to enter the Kyrgyz banking market. This was stated by the head of National Bank Ulan Sarbanov. According to him, a group of Russian businessmen sent in documents. Their documents will be viewed in the next 6 months in accordance to Kyrgyz law. U. Sarbanov has also stated that one Kazakh bank will start operating in Kyrgyzstan. It has already registered and established is operating capital. It has been reported previously that the Kazakh “Alliance Bank” has started its entrance to the Kyrgyz market.
