March 14, 2006. Poland-Kazakhstan co-operation group meets in Poland
The first meeting of the interparliamentary group on co-operation between Poland and Kazakhstan with participation of Alexei Volkov, ambassador of RK to Poland, took place in Poland. A decision to work out and adopt an Action Plan of the Poland-Kazakhstan co-operation group for 2006-2007 was made at the meeting. In particular, the sides agreed to develop co-operation between the parliaments, exchange visits of MPs, and carry out a number of joint initiatives in education. The Polish side was informed about political and socioeconomic changes in Kazakhstan and acquainted with main provisions of the Presidential Address to the Nation as of 1 March, 2006.
