- March 17, 2006. Kyrgyzstan to attend Havana Trade Fair

In November, a trade fair will take place in Havana, Cuba. Terms of participation in the fair will be handed to minister of industry, trade and tourism of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambaev. It was disclosed during the meeting between the minister and deputy foreign minister of Cuba Eumelio Rodriges and ambassador of Cuba to Kazakhstan Teresita Kapote. Tourism is one of the dynamic sectors in Cuba. Presently it brings 10% receipts to economy. Over 2 million tourists pay visit to the country in a year. In May, tourism fair will be held in Cuba. Participation of Kyrgyzstan in this fair could have assisted in exchange of experience and information. Cuba is ready to offer Kyrgyzstan a program that will allow rest and treat diseases such as psoriasis and other coetaneous illnesses related to pigmentation.
