Delegation of business circles of Finland is visiting Uzbekistan. It includes representatives of large companies producing equipment for oil and gas, paper, mining, woodworking, food and other industries. A business forum of Uzbek and Finnish businessmen was held in Tashkent organized by the Commerce and industry chamber of Uzbekistan and the Center for international marketing services of Finland. The main issues of discussion at the forum were development of cooperation. Finland was among the first countries in Europe to establish cooperation with Uzbekistan. Last year’s bilateral turnover increased by almost 30 percent compared to 2004.
