Government takes measures to raise employment

Local government authorities in close cooperation with the State Committee for Demonopolisation and Support of Competition, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan have developed and approved the programmes of provision of employment to the population, support and development of enterprise and competition for 2006-2007.
