This International Conference is being organized as a forum for the presentation and discussion of current issues in research, theory and policy pertaining to gender. The conference aims to encourage interdisciplinary thought and collaboration as well as rigorous dialogue between theory and the broad range of current empirical work. The conference hopes to stand as a unique forum bringing together a wide range of scholarly work that contributes to the study of gendered social reality.
