Presidential campaign begins in Turkmenistan

Preparations for presidential elections scheduled for February 11, 2007 is at full speed in Turkmenistan. According to the decree by the Central Commission on Elections and Referendums, 65 electoral districts and over 1600 polling stations were set up in Turkmenistan. The location and borders of electoral districts and polling stations correspond to relevant districts and polling stations set up earlier within the framework of elections of members of district and town people's councils.
