- June 30, 2007. UN announces the Child’s competition on the best design of postage stamp

The Secretariat of the United Nations Organization announced an International Child’s Art Competition on the best design of the UN’s postage stamp on the theme “We can eradicate poverty”. The contest devoted to the United Nations International Day for Poverty Eradication. The contest is open for children from all over the world ages 5 to 15. The sketch should be drawn on a paper or canvas on A-4 format. The drawings should be submitted till June 30, 2007. 26 winners of the contest will be announced on October 6. Works of all the winners will be presented on a special exhibition, devoted to the United Nations International Day for Poverty Eradication.
