The conference will bring U.S. companies together with public and private sector representatives from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, as well as potentially from Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, to discuss current and proposed railway, road, and airport projects in Central Asia. Issues related to the transport of goods will also be addressed. International financial institutions, such as the Asian Development Bank, are also expected to attend.
