Turkmenistan establishes commission on Caspian issues

Turkmen president Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov signed a resolution on establishment of an interdepartmental commission of Turkmenistan on the Caspian Sea. The document also approves the commission's status and composition. The resolution was signed "with the aim of practical implementation of issues related to various forms of activities on the Caspian Sea, determination of international legal status of the Caspian Sea, cooperation with coastal states, as well as coordination of the work of ministries and departments of Turkmenistan."
