Asian Pacific Economic and Social Development Survey for 2006 and Development Perspectives for 2007 and in mid-term perspective were presented in Almaty for the first time. For the first time in Central Asia UN representation office in Kazakhstan together with the RK Ministry of Foreign Affairs presented a survey "On progressive wave through time of uncertainty", prepared by UN Economic and Social Committee for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).
