The first National Conference on Islamic Finance (NCiF 2007) is organised by the Faculty of Business Management and Accountancy, Universiti Darul Iman Malaysia. The conference serves as a platform for academicians, practitioners, research institutions, post-graduate students and interested parties to meet and exchange ideas on the current issue pertaining to Islamic finance. Objectives: - to provide an avenue for discussion and exchanging of ideas on contemporary issues; - to provide professional interaction and network among academicians in Islamic banking and finance for future collaborations; - to actively participate in the contribution of quality research in Islamic banking and finance; - to boost intellectual, creative and innovative thinking in the field of Islamic finance among the participants; - to share ideas and experience in the field of Islamic finance.
