Tajik-Swiss joint venture Somon Oil received license from the Tajik government to prospect for oil and natural gas in northern Tajikistan. The company Somon Oil received the license to explore gas and oil reserves in Sughd’s Bobojonghafurov, Jabborrasulov and Ghonchi districts. Somon Oil will mainly work at gas fields Obchai Qalcha and Navoobod.
