- August 21, 2007. Turkmen President to visit United Arab Emirates

On August 26-27, the visit of the Turkmen leader to the United Arab Emirates will take place. Next month, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will attend the regular session of the UN General Assembly in New York. As is known, Turkmenistan was elected to vice-chairmanship of this imposing forum. In early fall, the Presidents of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will visit Turkmenistan. To prepare to the forthcoming summit, the Turkmen government delegation headed by Rashid Meredov will set off to Tashkent.
