Turkish president plans visit to Turkmenistan

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President Abdullah Gul of the Republic of Turkey talked over the telephone. In the course of the conversation, the sides discussed the current state of Turkmen-Turkish relations and also exchanged views on a number of essential issues of mutual interest. The new Turkish leader noted that Turkmenistan will be one of the countries he is planning to visit first as newly-elected president.
