Kazakh-Chinese cooperation in the sphere of transport and communication was discussed

The third sitting of subcommittee for transport cooperation of the Kazakh-Chinese Committee on cooperation and in issues of interaction in the field of automobile transport, highways and civil aviation took place in Astana. The parties discussed the necessity of creation of new cargo-and-passenger routes, the forthcoming opening of an additional line of automobiles’ pass with the purpose of prevention of the traffic congestion at the Khorgos border crossing. Besides, the Chinese side expressed intention to participate in building automobile roads on the territory of Kazakhstan including Western Europe – Western China corridor.
