Bishkek hosts international forum of ombudsmen and national institutions on human rights

The second Issykkul forum of ombudsmen and national institutions on human rights started in Bishkek. Ombudsmen from Pakistan, Iran, Malaysia, Thailand, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Tatarstan and other countries are taking part in it.
Participants of the forum have already got acquainted with the work of the Ombudsman Institute of Kyrgyzstan and on October 23 they will tour to Issykkul. During the forum human rights campaigners will discuss problems of control of observation of human rights in countries of transition period, independence of ombudsman as a factor of protection of human rights and freedoms, role of national institutions on human rights and others issues.
