President of Uzbekistan receives Premier of State Council of China

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov received Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Wen Jiabao in Tashkent. During the talks at the Oqsaroy residence, the sides considered the current state and perspectives of the Uzbek-Chinese relations. The President stressed that he highly evaluated the current state of the Uzbek-Chinese relations, including the states' cooperation within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Wen Jiabao, in his turn, said China is interested in expanding cooperation with Uzbekistan.
