Kazakhstan calls to discuss Asian Energy Strategy within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) before the end of 2007. Such a proposal was expressed the Kazakhstani Prime Minister, Karim Massimov. "We propose to SCO working group on fuel and energy complex to execute before the end of 2007 a meeting on energy strategy discussion", - he said on the summit of prime ministers of SCO countries was held in Tashkent. Kazakhstani Prime Minister added that energy infrastructure is built very fast on the international organization territory. "Asian Energy Strategy is extremely important", - he underlined, reminding that the proposal of such document's development was stated by Kazakhstan already in 2006.
