President Bakiyev met with Japanese Emperor Akihito

President Kurmanbek Bakiyev met with Emperor of Japan Akihito within the framework of the visit to Japan. The head of the state also met with Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda. On the results of the talks, a joint statement on friendship, partnership and cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Japan was signed. K. Bakiyev said that this document will be a “map” of Kyrgyz-Japanese cooperation for perspective.
