December 6, 2007. Uzbek President received South Korean Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov received Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of South Korea Song Min-Soon at Oqsaroy residence in Tashkent. "We highly value cooperation with the Republic of Korea," Islam Karimov said welcoming the South Korean official. "Your visit is another proof of the gradual development of relations between our states in all fields." Song Min-Soon said South Korea was interested in expanding cooperation with Uzbekistan in all spheres. During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of further strengthening of cooperation between Uzbekistan and South Korea, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
