Turkmenistan, Turkey set to build up economic cooperation

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Turkish Republic President Abdullah Gul held talks in Ashgabat. During the talks the heads of state noted the positive dynamics of economic cooperation. The talks resulted in signing a joint communiqu and the intergovernmental agreement on setting up the Turkmen-Turkish commission for economic cooperation. The first meeting of the commission will be held in the beginning of 2008. The two presidents agreed to introduce into practice regular top level meetings, no less than once a year.
