December 11, 2007. Issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and European Union were discussed in Bishkek

Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ednan Karabaev met with temporary charge d`affairs of the European Commission in the Kyrgyz Republic Jorg Volker Ketelsen. E. Karabaev expressed interest in Kyrgyzstan’s cooperation with the EU within framework of the new Strategy for Central Asia and in the sphere of trade and economic cooperation.
