Acting Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Ambassador of Kazakhstan agreed to initiate meeting of Kyrgyz-Kazakh Intergovernmental Commission early next year

Acting Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Ednan Karabaev met with Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan Umirzak Uzbekov. During the meeting, the sides considered results of Kyrgyz-Kazakh cooperation in 2007 and outlined the tasks for near-term outlook. The parties agreed to initiate a meeting of Kyrgyz-Kazakh Intergovernmental Commission early 2008 to consider issues of trade-economic cooperation.
