Strengthening of ties with China is one of foreign policy priorities of Kazakhstan, President

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, on short leave in China, has received a special envoy of China's President Hu Jintao, member of the State Council of China. On behalf of President Hu Jintao and Premier of the State Council Wen Jiabao the special envoy has extended good wishes to Nursultan Nazarbayev for the New Year and 16th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and China. In the course of the meeting the Kazakh leader highlighted that the strengthening of relations with China is one of the main strategic priorities of the country’s foreign policy.
