Tajikistan, Egypt to boost bilateral cooperation

President Emomali Rahmon received Deputy Foreign Minister of Egypt Samir Abd al-Aziz Abdullah Khalil. Speaking to journalists after a meeting with President Rahmon, Egyptian official noted that they had discussed state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Egypt. He, in particular, noted that Tajik president’s visit to Egypt in February 2007 had given a new impulse to development of relations between the two countries.
