Environment protection, providing ecological stability, increasing ecological culture of the population and lowering negative influence of industrial production on an environment are among the priorities of policy. These issues were discussed during the conference devoted to efficiency of use of information and communication technologies in environment protection and natural resources saving, which took place at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies. The event was organized by the Institute for Study of Civil Society, National Association of non-governmental and non-commercial organizations of Uzbekistan, International organization of ecology and health “Ecosan”, Uzbekistan non-governmental and non-commercial organizations Ecoforum. Specialists from relevant state, non-government organizations and research institutes attended the event.
