February 29, 2008. Turkmenistan, UAE presidents hold talks in Ashgabat

UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Ashgabat on an official visit on February 27. In the second half of the day, the presidents of Turkmenistan and the UAE held one-on-one talks. The sides discussed the progress in implementing agreements reached during the Turkmen president's visit to the UAE, exchanged views on the prospects for developing the bilateral cooperation in the trade and economic spheres, fuel and energy complex, agriculture, construction, transport and communication.
