Indonesia, Uzbekistan will discuss further development of mutually beneficial cooperation

The Fourth meeting of the Committee on bilateral consultations between Indonesia and Uzbekistan will be held in Medan, North Sumatra province, Indonesia from March 17 to March 19, 2008. During the meeting, the sides will discuss achievements in bilateral relations between two countries in political, economic and social-cultural spheres. The meeting, which will be attended by members of delegations from both countries, will also consider issues of development of cooperation in political sphere, in particular preparations for the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov to Indonesia, which is planned in 2008, as well as other visits of high-ranking officials of Uzbekistan in the current year.
