Trade and industrial exposition of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held in Tokyo in Japan in early March this year as a part of the One Village One Product Programme implemented by the Japanese government. The Manufactured Import and Investment Promotion Organization (MIPRO) of Japan and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan along with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan to Japan organized the event. During the exposition the representatives of the Japanese business people have been fully informed about the economic and industrial potential of Uzbekistan, the ongoing large-scale reforms in various sectors of economy, modernization and improvement of industrial production process.
