Head of the state Nursultan Nazarbayev commissioned to make amendments to the Strategy of industrial-innovative development up to 2015. Such an errand was given by the president in the process of meeting with the leadership and members of the government, agency reports with the reference to the press-service of the head of the state. "The head of the state pointed to the certain weaknesses in the work on realization of the Strategy and commissioned to make necessary amendments," the press service message runs. "The government should effectively coordinate the work of state bodies on realization of the Strategy, systematize the work on realization of the Program of 30 corporative leaders," N. Nazarbayev stressed. The president emphasized that the main goal of the Strategy is to create an alternative, independent from natural resources economy. "It is an important goal of the economic development. The future of the country depends on it," N.Nazarbayev said. The president considers that the government and the institutes of development fulfill active work and there are already some fruitful results. For the five years of the Strategy realization only on the money from the development institutes' budget, there are more than 50 projects in processing industry are put into operation, and more than 25 thousand working places are created by new enterprises.
