- June 3, 2008. International textile exhibition opens in Turkmen capital

An international exhibition dedicated to Day of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan was inaugurated at Sergi Koshgi exhibition center on June 1. The exhibition was organized by the ministry of textile industry of Turkmenistan. The programme of the exhibition features a fashion show by designers of Fashion House of the ministry of textile industry of Turkmenistan, Gulzaman Fashion House, Vyacheslav Zaytsev Fashion House (Russia), Oleksander Gapchuk (Ukraine) and Akhmed Nabeli (Pakistan). The exhibition displays goods produced by leading Turkmen textile plants that are in great demand in Turkmenistan and abroad. These are Turkmenbashi Jeans Complex, Turkmenbashi Textile Complex, Kipchak, Geoktepe and Bayramali textile plants and others. Over 60 foreign companies, big producers and suppliers of textile equipment and chemical production, also demonstrate their new products at the exhibition.
