- June 4, 2008. Foreign companies participate in Ashgabat's textile exhibition

The Economic Forum was held in Ashgabat on June 2 as part of the International Textile Exhibition dedicated to Turkmenistan's Textile Industry Day. The forum was attended by leading Turkmen and foreign specialists, experts, businessmen and private entrepreneurs from Russia, Belgium, Germany, UK, Switzerland, China, Korea and other countries. Representatives of Rieter, Jum-Shui, Engin Group, KITECH, Hansman companies spoke at the forum which was held at the conference room of the ministry of textile industry, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat. They shared their plans and vision for developing the productive cooperation with Turkmenistan. Representatives of other companies that are willing to start their business on the Turkmen market and interested in establishing business contacts also attended the forum. These were AOZT Chaikovskyy Textile and Tekstilmash (Russia), Hunsman and Bezema (Switzerland), BASF (Germany), Le Kler and Meert (Belgium).
