March 30, 2005. "Central Asia Home Textile 2005" opens in Almaty

An international exposition of domestic textile "Central Asia Home Textile 2005" opened in Almaty yesterday on March 29, 2005. 72 companies from 10 world countries - Kazkahstan, Turkey, Korea, Italy, India, China, Germany, Austria, and others - presented their goods. Among the exposed goods there were plaids, curtains, towels, carpets, mats, blinds, and home clothes produced by textile enterprises. Organisers of the exposition hope that such events will promote extension of the Kazakhstani market and attraction of investments into the textile industry.
