The working language of the conference is English.

The first Union of Black Sea & Caspian Confederation of Enterprises (UBCCE) managing council with 12 countries representatives’ participation was held in Almaty. According to Murat Zongur, UBCCE Secretary General, the main strategic task of new alliance is to become a business voice in Black and Caspian Seas regions. The first managing council in fact assigned the existence of UBCCE which formally was created in summer 2006. The organization uniting the Black-Caspian Sea region business structures representatives will take the responsibility on integration and creation of United Economic Area which has big potential. The members of new economic alliance are representatives from Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Iran, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Turkey.

The 1st session of Kazakh-Greek intergovernmental commission for economic and technological collaboration will take place. Co-chairmen of the commission are 1st Vice Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Rakhat Aliyev and deputy Foreign Minister of Greece Evripidis Stilianidis.

Two days’ international conference on the issues of human rights and activity of the Institute of Ombudsman opened in Astana city. The forum is organized by the Institute of Human Rights Commissioner of Kazakhstan, Senate of the Parliament in association with ombudsmen from Spain and Greece. Representatives of Ombudsman Office from different countries, central state bodies of Kazakhstan, social communities, Parliament deputies and others take part in the event.
