August 21, 2007. Parliamentary delegation of Israel is visiting Uzbekistan
Parliamentary delegation of Israel headed by Knesset Vice-Speaker Amnon Cohen is on a visit in Uzbekistan. On 20 August, the delegation held talks with the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of Uzbekistan’s Oliy Majlis Erkin Khalilov. The sides considered the current state and perspectives of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Uzbekistan and Israel. On the same day, the Israeli delegation held negotiations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry for Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan.

June 28, 2007. Israeli Merhav offers new projects to Turkmenistan
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and head of Israeli company Merhav Josef Maiman have agreed on approaches to establishing a new expanded format of partnership. The meeting between the President of Turkmenistan and Merhav chief executives was held in the Turkmen capital. Josef Maiman presented a number of projects in the oil and gas sector, chemical industry, agriculture, education and healthcare.

Tashkent hosted a conference titled “Democratic development and issues of providing safety”. The event was organized by the Regional Policy Foundation (Uzbekistan) jointly with the Centre for Research in Rural and Industrial Development (CRRID) of India. April 25, 2007. 3rd Innovative Congress of Kazakhstan
3d Innovative Congress of Kazakhstan will be held in Almaty. One of the main tasks of the meeting is to become an information placement to exchange experience and arrange cooperation between innovation process participants. Among the participants are foreign investors, venture funds and banks representatives, scientists, universities and scientific laboratories workers. It is expected, more then 250 delegates from Kazakhstan, Russia, Israel, and Europe to take part in the congress.

March 2, 2007. Kazakhstan WTO introduction bilateral agreement signed in Jerusalem
Following the results of negotiations on Kazakhstan introduction into the World Trading Organization, the bilateral agreements on WTO introduction of the Republic has been signed in Israel, Jerusalem. The document has been signed by Deputy Prime Minister - the Minister of Industry, Trade and Labor of Israel Eliyahu Yishai and Vice Minister of Industry and Trade, the special negotiation representative for introduction of the Republic Kazakhstan into WTO Zhanar Aytzhanova.

June 17, 2006. 2nd Summit of Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building in Asia (CICMA)
Heads of the nine states will gather at the 2nd Summit of Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building in Asia (CICMA) in Almaty. Russia, China, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Thailand and Uzbekistan have confirmed their high-level participation. For the first time an observer state, Ukraine, will be represented on the high-level. The UN undersecretary and secretary general of the League of Arab States will also attend CICMA Summit. Besides, vice premiers of Israel, Mongolia, Turkey and a special representative of Indian PM are expected to take part in it too.
