At the plenary session Majilis deputies approved the bill on ratification of the Agreement between the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the government of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on mutual encouragement and protection of investments. The agreement stipulates mutual conditions of granting to the investor of both countries of the optimum mode of investments. The agreement regulations extend on all the investments carried out by investors on the territory of either of two states

Majlis session will discuss bill on ratification of Kazakh-Jordanian agreement on mutual protection of investments

A draft law On ratification of an agreement between the Government of Kazakhstan and Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on mutual encouragement and protection of investments has been discussed today at the sitting of the Committee for International Affairs, Defense and Security of the Majilis of Kazakhstan’s Parliament.The agreement is directed to the creation of favorable terms for realization of industrial and innovative projects. Members of the Committee decided to introduce the draft law to the House’s consideration, and recommended to approve it.

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has held talks with King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Abdullah II in Akorda residence today. The two parties discussed bilateral relations, exchanged opinions on important international and regional problems. “Kazakhstan confirms its intention to develop cooperation with Jordan in various spheres. We are interested in the enhancement of the political dialogue, coordination of efforts in the world arena. Trade-economic and culturally-humanitarian aspects of collaboration are the most significant”, Nursultan Nazarbayev underlined.

Kazakhstan, Jordan create joint economic commission

Kazakhstan and Jordan will create a joint economic commission, Maroof al-Bakheet, Prime Minister of Jordan, said at a briefing after a meeting with the President of RK in Astana. "We have agreed on creation of a joint economic commission, whose first meeting will take place before the visit of Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan," - Mr. al-Bakheet said.
