Civil Society Coalition of Azerbaijani NGOs
Civil Society Coalition (CSC) was established on 17 March 2007 in Baku, Azerbaijan with the participation of 38 organizations, including the NGOs from the regions of the country. Now the number of members exceeded 50 NGOs and 30 more are pending for membership. Mission is to ensure the participation of citizens in civil society construction and decision-making process. Mr. Razi Nurullayev is an executive secretary of the Coalition. The members of Governing Council: 1. Ali Ehtiram, Scientific-Technical progress and Education Center; 2. Society for Humanitarian Research
The Society for Humanitarian Research is a non-governmental organization founded on January 17, 1997. The main purpose of the organization is: • to prepare programs for the individuals wishing to be occupied in a social activity in order to give them knowledge about social entities • to study the conditions for the active participation of individuals in the formation of the civil society and in the process of democratic development of the society and the situation concerning with the human rights, migration, and the third sector development • to prepare programs for the citizens to give them legal knowledge and etc.
Center for Economic and Social Development
Center for Economic and Social Development (CESD) was established for the purpose of promoting research into contemporary economic and social problems in 2005. The Center aims at organizing and promoting theoretical and practical research in the economic and social development problems (i), providing policy advice to the Government of Azerbaijan (ii), contributing to the national capacity building and raising public awareness of socio-economic issues (iii), fostering cooperation between the public, private, NGO sector, and educational institutions in addressing and resolving economic problems (iv) and assisting sustainable development, gender development, reducing poverty, achieving Millennium Development Goals and economic and social reforms (v).
The Public Finance Monitoring Center (PFMC)
The key task of PFMC is to trace the flow of public finance mainly in three directions: · Monitoring of oil revenues, which mostly concentrated in the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ); · Implementation of permanent budget monitoring though tracing the efficient development of the state budget and right use of its resources (on appointment); · Monitoring of the financial activities of the state-run enterprises under natural monopoly (mostly the Fuel and Energy Complex) and international credits, attracted for investment projects under governmental guarantees. Goals of PFMC are as follows: · Achievement of efficient management over public finances and opportunities for their rationalization; · Making the public to take more active part in issues of efficient use of public finance; · Achievement of more transparent and efficient use of public finance for the sake of the nation.
Mongolian Development Research Centre (MDRC)
MDRC`s main objectives are to promote knowledge of development economics in Mongolia and bring together scholars and specialists who are working on formulating a comprehensive, long-term development concept for Mongolia that takes into consideration geography, culture, tradition, nomadic way of life, and the current economic profile of Mongolia.
Institute for Strategic Studies (ISS)
ISS`s major objectives are to create opportunities for the formulation of rational, coherent foreign and defense policies that affect the maintenance of Mongolia’s independence and security; cooperate with other similar organizations and institutions both in Mongolia and overseas in promoting the study of peace and international security affairs; and promote public awareness and understanding in individuals interested in strategic and peace studies. To implement its aims, ISS conducts long-term analyses of Mongolia’s peace and security issues in connection with international and regional security affairs; makes policy recommendations to defense and foreign policymakers; holds conferences, seminars, and meetings on relevant topics; publishes reports, periodicals, and research and information papers; and assists the Mongolian National Committee of the Council for Security Cooperation in the Asia-Pacific (CSCAP).
The World and China Institute
The World and China Institution mainly conducts research on grassroots democracy in China. WCI works by paying attention to the reform and openness of China, the great changes and transition in society, politics, economy and culture brought by the openness to the outside world. It attaches importance to the current situation and prospect of the economic and political reform since China adopted the market economy program in 1992. Another important issue, which WCI focuses on, is the international relationship of China with the World, especially in the Pacific Region, after the end of the Cold War.

China Society of Economic Reform
China Society of Economic Reform aims at undertaking government-commissioned economic reform research project, carrying out comprehensive survey related to economic development and society issues. The research findings are provided to government at all levers and enterprises.

The aim of Warton Economic Institute is to carry out comprehensive research on economic development in China, especially in Shanghai, based on theory and practice.
Beijing Municipal Institute for Economic and Social Development
The main function of Beijing Municipal Institute for Economic and Social Development is providing services for Beijing Municipal Government and Beijing Development and Reform Commission, carrying out economic research and social development strategy, sustainable development study.

To make rural economic policy and rural development strategy, provide consultation and suggestions on deepening rural economic reform.
Policy Research Department, Ministry of Commerce
The mission of Policy Research Department, Ministry of Commerce is studying the development trend of economic globalization and world trade, multilateral trade mechanism like WTO, regional economic development cooperation development trend, national macro economy, industrial economy, and regional economy. Policy Research Department will also focus on trade flow management system reform.
