Development projects of international organizations use Internet resources as a tool for public outreach and raising awareness on their efforts. Since the process of creation and regular support of the project-related web-sites requires appropriate capacities and experience, projects are forced to allocate significant resources for that.
The Central Asian Gateway project is pleased to announce the launch of the new service, associated with the whole process of a web-resource creation including further maintenance of its functionality and content.
The Central Asian Gateway project is currently maintaining and supporting a number of project-related web-sites by providing a solid technological and informational platform. The Central Asia Gateway may contribute to the activities of development stakeholders through ensuring:
- Development of a concept, terms of reference and information architecture of a web-site
- Programming a web-site
- Registration of a domain name
- Hosting of and administering a web-site
- Design of promotional materials
- Promotion of a web-site in mass media and Internet
- Content filling, managing, updating and upgrading
- Consulting on technological and content-related issues
Expenses associated with the service delivery are contingent on the desirable characteristics of a web-site and will not include any overheads. All payments are made in compliance with the UNDP procedures thus ensuring transparency and effectiveness of resources utilization.
