National strategies

One of the peculiarities of development in Central Asian countries is the aspiration of the societies towards renovation and progress in response to the challenges of globalization and changes related to this process. During the years of independence CA countries implemented reforms aimed at building democratic society and socio-oriented market economies.

The renovation process in CA countries objectively requires development of long-term strategies with the main focus on overcoming actual problems and challenges of the new millennium. These strategies serve as national plan of actions. They reflect country priorities, mid- and long-term development objectives, socio-economic indices.

Currently the majority of CA countries has approved and accepted for fulfillment national development strategies as fundamental governmental papers. Below you can find overview of the national strategies (with links).
