It becomes more and more obvious USA gears itself for a war against Iran. And Washington is going to use Georgia and other countries of neighbouring Caspian region in preparations of this military conflict. Although there are no US official requests of this sort, reporters of "The Jerusalem Post" have added support to such rumours. As it became known to them, US officials made reconnaissance of readiness of these states to be involved in such military preparations.
In American press Caspian military coalition is presented by long-term operation "Caspian Guard". American media makes a song about it under the pretext of hindering spread of nuclear weapons and anti-terrorist struggle in this area. But what's that got to do with Iran? It has never denied its obligations, assumed under Nuclear-Proliferation Treaty. Moreover, Washington has quickly forgotten about a helping hand that Iran has constantly lent to USA in its struggle against Afghani terrorists, for example.
Back to topic of "Caspian Guard" its mechanism has been well-proven in Georgia. It's clear the scheme will be repeated in this case, too. First Washington will send its military instructors to countries of Caspian region, then USA will deploy its military bases there and in the end on the basis of forced dependence of these states' leaders on American aid and support the leaderships of Caspian countries would load themselves with responsibilities to maintain USA during its military campaign against Iran.
But these countries should remember about retaliatory blow of Iran. Most of them have not even modern air defense system. And broadly speaking, why should Caspian countries quarrel with such good neighbor as Iran, who has more than once acted as mediator in arrangement of conflicts in such countries as Azerbaijan, Armenia and Tajikistan? Maybe, it is better to solve the problem of nuclear-proliferation in such civilized way as Russians try to propose. What do you think of it?
